Bicycle Limited Warranty

xdsbikeco.com stands behind the bicycles and cycling products we sell. This Limited Warranty applies only to eligible bicycles and framesets purchased new directly from xdsbikeco.com by the original purchaser.

This warranty is non-transferable.

Limited Lifetime Frame and Rigid Fork Warranty

The original frame and rigid fork of each eligible new bicycle or frameset are warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for as long as the original purchaser owns the bicycle.

This Limited Lifetime Warranty applies only to the original frame and rigid fork. Suspension forks, suspension components, and all other bicycle components are covered under the applicable component warranty described below.

A Limited Lifetime Warranty does not mean that the bicycle or frame is expected to last forever. Bicycle frames are subject to normal wear, fatigue, environmental exposure, and damage resulting from use. This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship only.

One-Year Component and Paint Warranty

The original paint finish and all other original bicycle components are warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one year from the original date of purchase.

Repair parts, replacement parts, and accessories purchased directly from xdsbikeco.com are also warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for one year from the original date of purchase unless otherwise stated in writing.

Normal wear, routine maintenance, and damage caused by use are not considered defects in materials or workmanship.

How to Submit a Warranty Claim

To request warranty service, please contact xdsbikeco.com Customer Support.

The original purchaser may be required to provide:

• Proof of purchase;
• Bicycle model and serial number;
• Photographs or videos showing the reported issue;
• A description of the issue and how it occurred; and
• Any additional information reasonably necessary to evaluate the claim.

xdsbikeco.com may require inspection of the bicycle or affected component before approving a warranty claim.

If a reported condition may affect safe operation, discontinue use of the bicycle until the bicycle has been inspected or the issue has been resolved.

Warranty Remedy

If xdsbikeco.com determines that a bicycle, frame, or component has a defect covered by this Limited Warranty, xdsbikeco.com may, at its sole discretion, repair the defective product or provide a replacement product or component of equal or greater value.

Replacement parts may differ in color, appearance, brand, or specification when an identical replacement is unavailable.

Repair or replacement under this warranty does not extend or restart the original warranty period. Any repaired or replacement product or component will remain covered for the remainder of the original applicable warranty period.

Labor and Transportation Costs

Approved warranty repairs are eligible for free repair labor during the first 60 days following the original date of purchase when the repair is performed or expressly authorized by xdsbikeco.com.

After the 60-day repair labor period, the purchaser is responsible for labor costs associated with the installation, adjustment, repair, or replacement of warranty parts unless otherwise required by applicable law.

Unless otherwise approved in writing by xdsbikeco.com, the purchaser is responsible for shipping, transportation, packaging, assembly, disassembly, inspection, bicycle-shop labor, and other costs associated with submitting or completing a warranty claim.

Unauthorized repairs, replacement parts, or labor charges will not be reimbursed.

What This Warranty Does Not Cover

This Limited Warranty does not cover:

• Normal wear and tear;
• Routine maintenance, cleaning, lubrication, tune-ups, or adjustments;
• Normal replacement of wear items, including tires, inner tubes, brake pads, chains, cables, grips, saddles, bearings, and other components that wear through ordinary use;
• Wheel truing, spoke-tension adjustment, brake adjustment, derailleur adjustment, cable adjustment, bearing adjustment, or other routine bicycle adjustments;
• Damage caused by improper assembly, installation, adjustment, maintenance, repair, or modification;
• Damage resulting from neglect, misuse, abuse, accidents, crashes, impacts, improper transportation, or improper storage;
• Rust, corrosion, oxidation, fading, scratches, dents, paint chips, cosmetic damage, or deterioration resulting from use, weather, moisture, salt, sand, chemicals, or other environmental exposure;
• Damage caused by exceeding the bicycle’s stated rider-weight, cargo, or load limits;
• Damage caused by incompatible or improperly installed components or accessories;
• Damage resulting from modification of the bicycle from its original condition;
• Damage resulting from failure to follow the owner’s manual, assembly instructions, maintenance instructions, safety warnings, or intended-use guidelines;
• Use of the bicycle for racing, bicycle motocross, stunt riding, trick riding, jumping, ramp riding, downhill riding, aggressive off-road riding, or training for these activities;
• Damage caused by continued use after a problem or unsafe condition becomes apparent;
• Products purchased used, previously owned, or from an unauthorized third-party seller; or
• Products with an altered, removed, or unreadable serial number.

Commercial, rental, delivery, fleet, or other high-use applications may be subject to separate warranty terms and are not covered unless warranty coverage is provided or approved in writing by xdsbikeco.com.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, XDSBIKECO.COM SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF USE, LOSS OF INCOME, LOSS OF PROFITS, PROPERTY DAMAGE, OR OTHER ECONOMIC LOSS, WHETHER BASED ON CONTRACT, WARRANTY, NEGLIGENCE, PRODUCT LIABILITY, STRICT LIABILITY, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY.

Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.

Nothing in this Limited Warranty excludes or limits any rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.

Limitation of Implied Warranties

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE APPLICABLE EXPRESS WARRANTY PERIOD STATED IN THIS LIMITED WARRANTY.

Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you.

xdsbikeco.com makes no other express warranties except as specifically stated in this Limited Warranty or otherwise provided in writing by xdsbikeco.com.

State Law Rights

This Limited Warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights that vary from state to state.
