The Urban Girl Single Speed Beach Cruiser is a classic looking kid’s cruiser bike that is a great first or second bike for all young female Beachbikers.  

The Urban Girl is simple to ride, it is a single speed bike with a coaster brake, it doesn’t get any easier; one gear, one brake.  There are no cables hanging off the bike or complicated gear systems, the brake engages by simply pedaling backwards.  This braking system is a coaster brake, just like the original beach cruisers.  The overall theme of this bike is simplicity, it rolls smooth and effortlessly without complicated design or technology.  The wide cruiser bike tires and cushy cruiser bicycle saddle make the ride soft and relaxing because the seat and tires will absorb most of the shock from bumps along the bike ride.  The effort required to get this bike rolling is minimal, the pedals are easy to turn so the young rider won’t be exhausted from a casual bike ride.  Don’t let the one gear fool you it will be able to serve the differing needs of various riders.  While only one gear, riders will still be able to maintain a consistent cruising speed. 

The look of this little girls’s 20” bike is reminiscent of a classic beach cruiser.  It is a simple design which makes it appealing to look at.  An elegant sloping top tube matched with a high gloss paint job makes this girl’s cruiser a real head turner.  The high gloss paint gives off an incredible shine in the sun that makes the bike really pop.  It comes with front and rear fender.

    all my daughter wanted for her birthday was a cruiser bike! Everywhere has been sold out, due to comic there is a shortage of bikes here in NY. I got on Google and found this site with this bike. Took a chance on it, she picked the mint green and we are in love! The bike came just in time. THE DAY OF HER BIRTHDAY! Literally received it within 5 days. And it was SO EASY for me to put together! Definitely please all around. Will be recommending people get their bikes thru here! Thank you so much!

    This bike was very good I love it my mom bought it for me even if it was expensive and it came right on time it shipped very good I can’t wait to use it thank you for the bike you guys you are amazing I really like the bike there was no baby blue it was sold out so I got mint green thank you so much stay safe and have a wonderful day but it was very hard to put together I had help tho so that was good I got to ride it it was very sturdy might need a helmet tho the brakes work everything works thank you so much

    I like this bike quite a lot for my 8-year-old. It's classy and sturdy. The bike came really quickly, and this company (XDS) responded to my questions. I do think that Firmstrong should write more detailed instructions for assembly. We had an issue with struts; there are actually two different strut lengths, but the instructions said nothing about any of that and provide only the vaguest pictures. Next time I order a bike, we'll definitely order from XDS again and we'll just pay a bike shop to assemble it! Also, the creamy white of the seat doesn't match the stark white of the handle bars, likely due to a material difference. An 8-year-old will never notice.
